about chronic airways disease
over the last 4 months l had trouble breathing and have constant cough. l
had a scan with radioactive dye and showed a thinning of lungs which could
be onset of chronic airways disease. l had several acounts of exposure to
dust particules without wearing protective masks. one cutting mdf on table
saw, two using an outside garden blow vac on pathways, three sanding back
wall poly filler and painting, four laying security cabling through
ceiling in presence of that mulch type insulation, five cigarette smoking, six a pulmany ebolism to the lungs after knee surgery. all this exposure has been in just a few months except the pulmunary ebolism which was about three years ago. iam trying to stop smoking and the question l have is after stuffing up my lungs is it possible they will clear, heal and get better and of any of the previous exposures which have any been the worst contributing factor, l also remembered cutting treated pine splits previously after using blow vac.
i have c.o.p.d..you must stop smoking..do what your doctor
advises..and keep going to the doctor till your satisfied they have done
everything they can for you..there is a lot of types of meds to help you
breath better..good luck
the smoking is the worst and you can recover much of your lung
capacity once you quite smoking. so do it now
